Don't get me wrong

Please don't get me wrong. I am not about to stop blogging. I do see the value. I was having one of those "what is my pee-waddlin' little commentary on my pee-waddlin' little life" moments. Ya know? I have those sometimes. I bet others do, too.

Just keeping things real, as usual.

I only read this particular post about the pee-waddlin' matter mentioned. Blogging is a relatively new phenomenon (as opposed to the family newsletter or other means for disseminating personal feelings, thoughts, emotions, etc.) I find that blogging (or responding to others' opinions on a blog post) helps me define what I think about something. It helps me see how others handle issues that might be common to me, and sometimes there's a semblance of personal response appreciated by people that we've never met in our lives.
For example, my son seems autistic to some degree, and had a nervous breakdown in his second year of college. It was very helpful to receive positive feedback from someone such as yourself to think that it wasn't going to be the end of the world and he would recover despite the terrible experience with watching a side-effect to medication.
