Lots of times if you speak with the manager of a grocery store and request certain products, that store will start carrying the items you request.

It might be worth it to plan a big shopping trip once a month to come into town and stock up on what you need until that happens. I'd do a google search and see if there are any asian markets on your end of town, as that's always been, in my experience, the cheapest place to get rice flour, various GF starches and rice noodles.

Good luck!Alanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02169732072381476940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-7864673210792775082009-01-27T09:22:00.000-08:002009-01-27T09:22:00.000-08:00HI I AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS SITE. An added bonus is that all the recipes are gluten-free. Now that I think of it, most of them are dairy-free too.

http://crockpot365.blogspot.com/

The recipes from this blog have made cooking for my four children so much easier. I'm now using the crock pot we got for a wedding present 20 years ago about 3-4 times per week.

Happy New Year!Anitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12385998114723349342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-11179640795965164192008-12-31T17:03:00.000-08:002008-12-31T17:03:00.000-08:00Well done on rising to this challenge! One more possibilty for you guys is, if you have a Korean grocery store in town, Koreans eat these great noodles in a dish called Chap Chai (or something similar) - they're made of sweet potato. Korean food rocks.Happy new year to you and your precious family!Hashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14288976759969499911noreply@blogger.com
