I also figured out that if you want nifty buttons, you can spend $2 for a random blouse with cool buttons at the thrift store rather than pay $10 for 2 cards of buttons at Jo-Ann's. You can turn the blouse into cleaning rags.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-38918039226155554722008-02-05T20:36:00.000-08:002008-02-05T20:36:00.000-08:00oh i do look forward to doing these sorts of more ...oh i do look forward to doing these sorts of more advanced things with my kids...because i love doing them myself. too many diapers for crocheting right now. ahh, seasons.

happy stitching!Bluecanopyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04386280385241981293noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-31703441613562352352008-02-05T15:18:00.000-08:002008-02-05T15:18:00.000-08:00So adorable. It has kept me well for all these many years. I just found a bunch of what we used to call storybook dolls in my cellar. My aunt crocheted all the outfits and they were so beautiful when I washed them out. I sent them to my cousin for her daughters to have. Great heirlooms for sure.gemmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16828891166303941604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-82273602217422427682008-02-05T12:16:00.000-08:002008-02-05T12:16:00.000-08:00I still have some of the crocheted sweaters my Gra...I still have some of the crocheted sweaters my Grandmom made for my dolls and a few of the rugs she made for my dollhouse.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.Athanasiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13107488973500025470noreply@blogger.com
