You say...I have a question for you, Morning Coffee. You say that you are Orthodox Christian, I was wondering what region of the world you are in and what "version" of Orthodox you are. Your blog is very interesting and fun to read!Sammybunnyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07077372716330355739noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25192475.post-79195315550538322242008-05-21T07:32:00.000-07:002008-05-21T07:32:00.000-07:00I know your recipes are for home, but this is migh...I know your recipes are for home, but this is mighty similar (and since Memorial Day is nigh upon us, her you go):

A standard Boy Scout dessert is a warmed can of pie cherries in a Dutch oven, followed by chocolate cake batter. Line the dutch oven with foil first, then spray with Pam. Cook over a dozen coals of a campfire for about 1/2 hour, with half a dozen coals on top. Top with whipped cream if desired. Makes for contented Scouts, and it's darned easy.

You could probably do the same thing in a Pyrex in the oven, but remember to warm the cherries first.Liz in Seattlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08498353122368712840noreply@blogger.com
